Please join Montgomery Pride United celebrate NATIONAL BLACK HIV/AIDS AWARENESS DAY with our launch of our new program HPTN096 Peer Support Program to the River Region and surrounding areas.
The Peer Support program aims to remove power imbalances sometimes seen in clinical settings by providing service and support to Black gay, bisexual, same-gender-loving, and other men who have sex with men. The care and attentiveness provided by Peer Supporters can potentially reduce the negative influence of discrimination and stigma often faced by those seeking health care or other support services.
This event will highlight what makes the HPTN096 Peer Support Program unique and the impact it will have on our community.
This event is open to the public to come and gain information about the HPTN096 Peer Support Program.
